BODY COLLABORATIONS

Fascia is the substance that connects every part of our body to every other part, an integrated mega-system that provides continuity and offers collaborative relationships. To research in this context, we will look at the different types and roles of the body's connective tissue. It interacts as a transmitter of information, a sensory instrument, a provider of suspension, elasticity, support and distribution of forces. In this course we will explore the architectural notion of tensegrity, the elastic potential of fascia. And also we will use all this information as a poetic support to relay with the space and the improvised dance. We'll also take a close look at some movement patterns in order to put into practice the direct capacity of our elasticity.
